NC Dinos are aiming to jump into the upper ranks with their 3-game winning streak.

NC won 5-1 in the home game against Hanwha Eagles in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League held at Changwon NC Park on the 17th, thanks to the great pitching of starting pitcher Daniel Castano.

NC, currently in 6th place with 3 consecutive wins, will rise to a tie for 5th place if SSG Landers, currently in 5th place, loses today.

NC showed fierce concentration from the first inning and scored 3 points first.

In the bottom of the first inning, with two outs, Park Geon-woo hit a left-field hit, followed by Matt Davidson’s double to center field to score the first run, and Kwon Hee-dong and Kim Hui-jip followed with consecutive RBI hits to make it 3-0.

In the 4th inning, with 1 out and runners on 1st and 3rd base, Kim Joo-won’s sacrifice fly and Park Si-won’s double added 2 more runs, making the score 5-0.

Hanwha failed to attack NC’s starting pitcher Castano and failed to score until the end.

In the top of the 8th inning, with two outs, Kim Tae-yeon hit a solo home run over the left-center wall, barely breaking the scoreless streak.

Castano stayed on the mound until the 8th inning, allowing 8 hits but striking out 2 and allowing only 1 run, shutting down the Hanwha batting lineup.

Hanwha Eagles starter Jaime Barria took the loss after allowing 5 runs on 9 hits in 4 innings.

9th place Hanwha fell into a three-game losing streak again. 파워볼사이트
