Forgetting to lose is a good way to describe it. The Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) have blown the whistle on their fourth straight win.
Samsung won its home game against SSG Landers 8-3 on Thursday at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu, South Korea, behind a strong pitching performance from starter Connor Seabold and a three-hit performance from Lee Jae-hyun. The win was Samsung’s fourth straight since beating LG Electronics in Jamsil on April 1.
Samsung starter Connor earned the win with six innings of seven hits (one home run), three walks and three strikeouts. Choi Ji-kwang, Lee Sang-min and Kim Jae-yoon followed with one inning each. Lee Jae-hyun went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and one run scored, while Kim Young-woong had one hit and two RBIs.
Manager Park Jin-man said, “The batters did their jobs evenly throughout the lineup. They were able to execute the game plan and produce long hits when we needed them. We are getting stronger as a team with better teamwork and focus. Connor, 파워볼실시간 who pitched six innings, did a great job as well,” said the coach.
