Pro Baseball Doosan wins against LG Chasing 2nd place group by 2 games

The 4th place Doosan Bears in professional baseball defeated their ‘under-the-roof rival’ LG Twins in a close match and chased the 2nd place group to within sight.

Doosan won 7-6 in the home game against LG in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 6th.

Doosan narrowed the gap with second-place LG and third-place Samsung Lions to two games. LG fell into a three-game losing streak.

Doosan scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning when they were down 0-1.

With runners on 1st and 2nd base and no outs due to consecutive hits by Kang Seung-ho and Kim Ki-yeon, Lee Yu-chan attempted a sacrifice bunt, and the opposing team’s fielder’s choice created a bases-loaded opportunity with no outs.

Doosan gave up one run in the top of the fourth inning, but added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth.
