Hwang Jun-seo (18), who earned the honor of being selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the KBO rookie draft, 한국야동 vowed to perform well in his rookie season.
He is determined to become a pitcher who can help his team rather than his individual performance.

Was selected by Hanwha with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 KBO Rookie Draft on Thursday at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Hwang, who was considered the biggest name in the draft due to Jang Hyun-seok’s (LA Dodgers) move to the major leagues, was the first to be called up and put on a Hanwha uniform.
“I’m honored to be drafted first overall among such good players,” Hwang Jun-seo told the press, adding, 성인웹툰 “I think the Hanwha uniform is beautiful and looks good on me.”
It was also meaningful for him to enter the professional league with his high school teammates.
On this day, Jang Chung-go was selected by a total of seven teams, including Hwang Jun-seo.
Yuk Sun-yeop (Samsung – 4th) and Kim Yoon-ha (Kiwoom – 9th), three of whom were selected in the first round alone.
“After I was selected, I prayed that all my friends would go pro as well. I was eager like it was my job,” he said, adding, “I was even happier when my friends’ names were called.”

Played high school baseball this year, going 6-2 with a 2.16 ERA in 15 games and 49⅔ innings pitched.
He also recently represented his country at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U18 Baseball World Cup, going 1-2 with a 3.97 ERA in three games (12⅓ innings).
Now that he has the opportunity to test his skills in the professional ranks.
Hwang also cites Lee Jung-hoo (Kiwoom) and Kang Baek-ho (KT) as hitters he would like to face.
“My strengths are my pitches and game management. I think I’m the type of pitcher who can strike out hitters, and I think I’m the type of pitcher who can easily face hitters.”
“I don’t really care about the position. I want him to be the guy the team goes to in crunch time.”
As for his role model, Hwang cited San Diego Padres left-handed closer Josh Hader as a role model, saying, “I don’t have any personal goals.
My priority is the team’s championship, 19가이드03 so I will pitch hard to help the team go as high as possible.”
