KIA Tigers’ closing pitcher Jeong Hae-yeong climbed to the first team mound after 44 days.
Jeong Hae-young recorded 1 hit and no runs against 3 batters in ⅔ innings in the home game against KT Wiz in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League held at Gwangju Kia Champions Field on the 6th.
This is Jeong Hae-young’s first appearance in a first-team match since the game against Hanwha Eagles on June 23.
Jeong Hae-young complained of shoulder pain after the Hanwha match and was sent down to the second team to receive treatment and rehabilitation.
Jeong Hae-young, who came up to check his condition that day, went up to the mound in the top of the 6th inning when KIA was leading 커뮤니티 1-0.
