Infielder Kim Do-young of the Kia Tigers hit the first home run of the Korean Series.
Kia and Samsung played Game 2 of the Korean Series at the Gwangju-Kia Champions Field on April 23.
Kia’s starting lineup was shortstop Park Chan-ho, left fielder Socrates Brito, third baseman Kim Do-young, designated hitter Choi Hyung-woo, right fielder Na Sung-beom, second baseman Kim Sun-bin, first baseman Lee Woo-sung, catcher Kim Tae-gun, and center fielder Choi Won-joon. With the bases loaded, Kim hit a 115-meter solo shot off Samsung’s second pitcher, Lee Seung-min, into the right-field bleachers.
