Four men’s and four women’s pairs out of qualifying for AG beach volleyball… Lee Dong-seok, Kim Jun-young take one win in qualifying

The Korean men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams have been eliminated from the beach volleyball qualifiers for the Hangzhou 토토 2022 Asian Games.

A total of four Korean beach volleyball teams competed in the qualifiers, which were held at the Banbianshan Beach Volleyball Court in Ningbo, China, from Sept. 19-22.

Lee Dong-seok and Kim Jun-young (Hwaseong City Hall) and Kim Myung-jin and Bae In-ho (Yeongcheon City Sports Association) represented the men, while Jeon Hari and Lee Ho-bin and Kim Se-yeon and Shin Ji-eun represented Kyung-il University.

However, they got off to a shaky start on day one, with Jeon Hari and Lee Ho Bin losing to Thailand and Lee Dong Seok and Kim Jun Young losing to Qatar.

However, Lee and Kim kept their hopes alive by defeating Macau’s Wong Wai Hei and Cheung Heo Wong in the second match of the qualifying round on the 20th, but lost 0-2 to Iran in the final match of the qualifying round on the 21st.

Aside from Lee Dong-seok and Kim Jun-young, who went 1-2, Kim Myung-jin and Bae In-ho, Jeon Hari and Lee Ho-bin, and Kim Se-yeon and Shin Ji-eun were all undefeated in qualifying.

Meanwhile, the beach volleyball tournament will begin on the 24th after the qualifiers from the 19th to the 22nd. The round of 16 will be held on the 24th, the quarterfinals on the 25th, and the semifinals on the 26th. The women’s third-place match and final will be held on the 27th, and the men’s third-place match and final on the 28th.
