The Mohegan tribal gaming company, the founder of the newly opened Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort in South Korea because of its foreign-only casinos, said group CFO Carol Anderson has decided not to renew her employment contract and will leave in March next year.
“Our quest to find a replacement has already begun, and we are particularly pleased with our interest in this position,” Ray Pino, chief executive of the U.S.-based group, which trades as Mohegan Gaming, said on Thursday during its fourth-quarter financial earnings call
He added: “I’m sure we’ll fill the positions in short order, with highly qualified individuals.”
The CEO thanked Anderson for his “huge contributions over the past three years.”
Jody Madigan, chief operating officer of Mohegan Gaming, added that Ms Anderson’s “ability to move the project forward” on refinancing South Korea, [and] the group, has helped the organisation greatly.
The outgoing CFO said it had been “honored and honoured” to take on the role and that he looked forward to helping ensure a “very successful transition” with his successor.
Mr. Anderson joined Mohegan Gaming at Scientific Games Corp, a legacy business enterprise in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was the most recent senior vice president of finance, capital markets and legal counsel.
Mohegan Gaming also noted on the call that he recently appointed Vice President of Capital Markets, Investor Relations and Corporate Finance with “extensive capital market experience.”
