Kawhi Leonard (LA Clippers) of the US national basketball team will not be able to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics due to injury.

The U.S. national basketball team, which set up a training camp in Las Vegas, issued a press release on the 11th (Korean time) stating that Leonard was not in good physical condition and would be replaced by Derrick White (Boston Celtics).

Leonard was set to compete in the 토토 Olympics for the first time in his life, but an injury prevented him from doing so.

Leonard was unable to play in 12 games due to a right knee injury at the end of the 2023-2024 NBA season.

“Leonard has been working on his Olympic preparations over the past several weeks, including several intense workouts in Las Vegas,” the NBA said in a statement, “but has decided it is best to prepare for next season rather than compete in the Olympics.”

White, who boarded the Olympic team in place of Leonard, is a member of the 2023-2024 season championship winning team and recently re-signed with Boston for 4 years and $126 million (about 174.4 billion won).
