Byung-hun Ahn 4th in 3R at PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship 3 strokes off lead

Byung-hoon Ahn kept his title hopes alive with a fourth-place finish in the third round of the Wyndham Championship ($7.6 million purse), the final event of the regular season on the PGA Tour.

Ahn carded six birdies and one bogey for a 5-under 65 in the tournament’s third round at the par-70 Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA, on Saturday (June 6).

That gave him an interim total of 15-under par 195, moving him down one spot to fourth from a tie for third the day before.

He is three shots off the lead with Lucas Glover and Billy Horschel (USA) at 18-under 192.

Ahn, who made his PGA Tour debut in 2016, will be looking for his first career win. He has three runner-up finishes.

Glover, the leader, shot an 8-under 62 on the day, while Horschel shot a 7-under 63.

Glover, the 2009 U.S. Open champion, will be looking for his fifth career victory since the 2021 John Deere Classic.

Horschel is looking for his eighth career victory after winning the Memorial Tournament last year.
