Offensive points in two consecutive preseason games

German professional soccer Bundesliga club Mainz midfielder Lee Jae-sung recorded an assist in a pre-season friendly.

Mainz defeated Burnley (England) 3-0 in a preseason friendly in Mainz, Germany, on Sept. 5 (local time).

The game was played in 90 minutes of regulation and 30 minutes of extra time.

Lee Jae-sung started and played until he was substituted in the 17th minute of the second half. He assisted on Anthony Cassi’s first goal in the 43rd minute.

It was his second consecutive game with an offensive point, having found the back of the net against St. Gallen (Switzerland) on the previous day.

Mainz added two more goals in the second half to close out the match with a three-goal victory.

Mainz will kick off the 2023-2024 season with the first round of the German Football Association (DFB-Pokal) against SV Elbersberg (2. Bundesliga) on Wednesday.
