‘First clean sheet’ Korea men’s soccer rises to 26th in September FIFA rankings…Japan 19th

South Korea’s men’s soccer team jumped to 26th place in the September Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) rankings.

South Korea was ranked 26th in the September rankings released by FIFA on Sept. 21 (KST) with 1533.01 ranking points. This is up two spots from the 28th position in July.

South Korea earned a 1-1 draw against Wales (0-0 draw) and a 1-0 win against Saudi Arabia during September’s A matches. It was the first win in six games for Jürgen Klinsmann, who hadn’t won since his appointment in February. 먹튀검증

Japan (1605.2 points) is the highest-ranked Asian Football Confederation (AFC) nation at No. 19. Iran (1561.26 points) is ranked 21st.

Australia (1531.72 points) remained in 27th place, followed by Saudi Arabia (1412.82 points) at 57th and Qatar (1395.57 points) at 61st.

Meanwhile, Argentina (1851.41 points) retained the top spot. France (1840.76) was followed by Brazil (1837.61), the United Kingdom (1794.34), and Belgium (1792.64).
