Lowest in K League 2 Cheonan Appoints New Coach Kim Tae-wan

Coach Kim Tae-wan is a defender-turned-leader who debuted in the K-League as a founding member of Daejeon Citizen

(now Daejeon Hana Citizen) in 1997 and played in a total of 116 games.

He began his career as a coach at Gwangju Sangmu Football Team in 2003, and has continued to coach and manage Sangmu

winning three championships in 2013, 2015, and 2021.

Leaving behind the 20 years he spent at Sangmu, coach Kim Tae-wan

who had time to recharge as a member of the Technical Study Group (TSG) of the Korea Professional Football League

begins a new challenge in Cheonan in the 2023 season.

New coach Kim Tae-wan said, “I understand that Cheonan had a difficult season this year. As he is newly in charge of the team, he expressed his determination
