Men’s Volleyball Samsung Fire, KEPCO make trade for Lee Si-Mon↔Jeon Jin-Seon Shin

Professional volleyball teams Samsung Fire of Daejeon and Suwon KEPCO Big Storm of Suwon have made a trade involving rookie rights.

“Samsung Fire and KEPCO have agreed to a trade for outside hitter Lee Si-mon in exchange for a 2024 second-round rookie pick and middle blocker Jeon Jin-sun in exchange for a 2024 third-round rookie pick,” Samsung Fire 메이저 토토사이트 officially announced on Monday.

Isimon was drafted by OK Savings Bank in the second round in 2015 and joined KEPCO as a free agent in the 2020-2021 season. In his first year with the team, Isimon ranked second in receptions and fifth in digs, and after his release from the military, he played 29 games in the 2023-2024 season, posting a 50 percent receiving efficiency.

Jeon joined the Samsung Fire via trade during the 2023-2024 season after being drafted by OK Savings Bank with the No. 1 overall pick in 2018.

Jeon played in 31 games and 82 sets, recording 62 points, a 54.67% attack percentage, and 0.256 blocks per set in 82 games, showing promise for the upcoming season.

The trade gives Samsung Fire an outside hitter with good reception and defense to bolster its defense, while KEPCO adds a middle blocker to fill the void left by Park Chan-woong, who joined the military.
